Psychological Services for Individuals
In my practice, I work to build a partnership that provides relief and examines the root causes of your symptoms. Depth work will allow you to understand yourself at a different level. It begins to unravel old patterns and help you to make different choices.
I see crisis and discomfort as an opportunity to grow. I believe that talking in a confidential setting and feeling understood, witnessed, and respected helps people to move through pain. This is what provides lasting change and relief. This work can be challenging at times and bring up difficult emotions. However, I will always “show up” fully to meet you in this process.
My typical private practice patients:
- are interested in medium- to longer-term psychotherapy
- are curious about themselves
- want to live as authentically as possible
- have often (though not necessarily) had previous psychotherapy and are ready to resume their work in the face of some new challenge or decision
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision. Let’s talk to see how I might help, and I invite you to read my blog post titled How to Choose a Therapist.
Psychological Services for Organizations
I am available to partner with nursing homes, skilled nursing, and other long-term care facilities to help staff at all levels effectively understand, address, and integrate psychological issues into patient care.
Please call if you are interested in discussing your organizational needs.
Insurance
If you hope to use insurance to cover your psychotherapy costs, I am happy to provide the paperwork necessary for you to get reimbursed. This means that you pay at the time of your session and get money back directly from your insurance company. Call your insurance company to learn if they will cover my services as an “out of network provider.”
