I have been offering workshops and short courses for over 15 years on issues ranging from psychology to project development to education. I currently offer training and consultation to two distinct audiences:
Medical Professionals
I offer workshops for nurses, CNAs, physicians, and other staff on psychological issues that commonly occur among medical patients. I also serve as a resource for integrating psychological considerations into organizational and patient quality of care plans at nursing homes.
Mental Health Professionals
I offer workshops and consultations to mental health professionals on psychodynamic case formulation and treatment. I work across theoretical orientations to communicate in ways that are jargon-free, clinically proven, and intuitively usable.
Our [local nursing home staff] have been fortunate to receive and participate in monthly training and education provided by Dr. Stafford… Our staff have found her instruction interesting, relevant to the care that they provide, and have commented on how informative and helpful the education has been. We are truly fortunate to have her as part of our team!

In addition, I am available to teach and consult from an interdisciplinary perspective about some developing areas in psychology, including:
Psychology of Home & Place
I offer specialized workshops, presentations, and consultations on home and the psychological importance of places. I have done ethnographic fieldwork and clinical study of the psychological, spiritual, and cultural aspects of our relationships with important places. Such places, from our present and past, have an enormous impact on well-being.
